Geocaching is a hobby that I found out about while I was living in Oregon. That also happens to be where it began in 2000. Geocaching is where you have a handheld GPS and you take coordinates off of a webpage and go find what is at those coordinates. Not as easy as it sounds as most caches are camoflaged to mix into their surroundings. None of my current friends do it with me, so I do it with my nephews when I visit. I actually started caching in 2006 when I was living in Big Bear, CA. I've cached recently in Nevada, California and Czech Republic.
